Purpose: A site for all fans of the pairing of Kevin and Niki.

How did this site come to be?

I started the KN site right in the middle of when UTCOL was airing back in March of 06. I was very obsessed and enthusiastic about the KN pairing… I simply fell head over heels in love with them. This was my initial motivation and the drive that pushed me to make a KN site. I knew that there were many KN fans like me out there because forums were buzzing with talk about KN and there was “KN Fever” going on back in 2006. At the time, there wasn’t a KN site available yet so I would be the “pioneer” so to speak of the KN online fan-site/community.

Before I started the KN site, I had in the past owned a TVB fan site focused primarily on TVB artistes and series… I had that site for maybe a year or at least 6 months. The site was a moderate success… at the time my web/graphics skills were amateur at best. The reason I closed down the site was simply because I lost interest in TVB series.

As you can see, I already had some experience in creating websites going into creating the KN site. When I first started the KN site, I didn’t have very high expectations going in about how successful it would turn out to be. I thought that maybe my love for KN would only be a fad and I will soon get over it, but at the time I had enough ambition and interest to take a gamble and start the site anyway. The KN site started out as a free site… I didn’t purchase a domain or anything so it did not cost me anything. All I had to invest was my time, dedication, and energy. This was all that was required. So if the site doesn’t turn out the way I want it or if it wasn’t able to find an audience, I could simply close it down like I did for my TVB site.

To my surprise and amazement… this site became quite a success and is still going strong today. I am very pleased with its development and how far it has come. The site started out modestly with a few visitors per day till now with over 100 daily from all over the globe. Now if you search “Kevin Niki” on Google, the site would be the first one listed. When the site was taking off, I opted to purchase a domain to add more professionalism and sincerity and thus the official domain “kevin-niki.net” was born.

I wanted to make this a welcoming place for all KN fans to come and share their thoughts and satisfy all their KN cravings!  If you’re not a fan, hopefully after checking out this site, you will become one.  Join me in supporting KN so that they will be forever remembered as one of the greatest TVB couples ever!

Do KN know about this site?
Yes! Niki said she knew about this site since 2006! As for Kevin, a fan wrote him a letter informing him about this site when she got a chance to meet him.

Important Milestones

July 21, 2006 – Acquired an official domain name after four months of a sub-domain (endearment-kn.50webs.com).  www.kevin-niki.net

October 1, 2006 – Reached 10,000 hits!

April 6, 2007 – Reached 25,000 hits!

December 15, 2007 – Reached 50,000 hits!

April 18, 2007 – Reached 75,000 hits!

September 15, 2008 – Reached 100,000 hits!
