Finally a new update! It’s been what, 3 months since I’ve last updated? This would be the first “update” of 2010. You guys are probably thinking that I gave up on KN and no longer want to work on this site. This is not true. I’m still a KN fan except my interest has waned a bit. This site will still remain open, but updates will not be regular. I will typically update if there are any major breaking news like a new KN series or something. Other than that, there’s really not much for me to say unfortunately. However, the forum is where all the “life” is so if you want to chat about KN or anything K/N related just hop on by. There are still lots of KN fans there. The latest KN individual news and pics are also posted there so if you want to find out what KN are up to, I urge you to check out the forum.

Kevin’s new series “A Fistful of Stances” will be out March 15 @ 9:30 pm on TVB. He’s in the states currently and will be returning to HK shortly to promote his new series. No word yet on what his next project will be.

Niki “said” she is recording her new album which will be out in June (take with a grain of salt). She plans on filming a TVB series at the end of 2010. Rumor has it that it will be Burning Flame 4 (no word if Kevin will take part). Again, this is all rumors so please don’t take anything too seriously.

I know I haven’t been updating lately, but what can I do? I would love to update more frequently, but sadly there isn’t much for me to update nowadays. I wished KN had some good news to keep me busy LOL.

“Beyond” is entering its final week of airing and has been doing very well in the ratings. I know, I said I wasn’t planning on watching cause of you know what, but I’m watching it cause I’m interested in seeing Tavia turn evil. Frankly, Kevin’s storyline is a snoozefest. His character is so righteous and boring. Aside from this, Kevin is currently filming “Only You” with Yoyo Mung and Louise Lee. It’s a series about the wedding planning business. Kevin plays a photographer and I guess he’ll be paired up with Yoyo. The series is made up of a different topic/storyline in each episode…. this reminds me of “Loving You.”

Niki is not doing anything worth mentioning right now. It’s been pretty quiet on her side. It’s BMA what do you expect? Now, they are investing in the restaurant business. I don’t think they should be an entertainment company anymore. Please just stick to your soccer team, restaurant, or whatever the hell your other businesses are. By the way, they changed their name to BMA Investments… does this sound like an entertainment company to you? I’m so happy that Jade left and got married. Very thrilled for her, but our dear Niki… I have no eyes to see anymore.

“Only You”

Kevin’s new series is tentatively titled “Only You.” The costume fitting will be held on Nov 2. Cast members include: Louise Lee, Yoyo Mung, Chin Ka Lok, Crystal Tin, Vivien Yeo, Evergreen Mak, Vin Choi, Natalie Tong, Suet Nei, Eddie Li, Leanne Li, Lai Lok Yi, Sam Chan, Meini Cheung, Jason Chan, Claire Yiu, Yvonne Ho, Sherman Tang, Helen Ma, Tai Chi Wai, Matthew Ko, Ma Goon Tung, Jones Lee, Deno Cheung, Otto Chan, Tony Yee, Zoey Shum, Stephen Wong, Johnson Lee, Leung Kin Ping, Lau Dan, Rosanna Lui, Wong Chun Tong, Charmaine Li, and Lau Kwai Fong. Paul Chun has declined the series. From Kevin’s interview in Malaysia, he said that the new series will focus on the wedding business. He will play a photographer.

I don’t have any updates about Niki sorry. No idea what her next big project is.

Some changes in Kevin’s upcoming series. The tentative English title is “Only You.” I mentioned earlier that besides Kevin, Ada Choi, and Roger Kwok will be in this series. It turns out that they have declined this series. So Ada and Roger will no longer be starring in this series. The cast list is now, Kevin, Louise Lee, Paul Chun, Yoyo Mung, and Natalie Tong. I don’t know if someone will take Roger and Ada’s roles or if they will be written out all together. Louise said filming should begin in early November. Sigh, now I’m not that excited about this series. I wonder why Ada and Roger both turned it down. I hope it’s not because the script sucks. I I really hope Amy gives Kevin a good and perhaps breakthrough role. He really needs one! Ever since Last One Standing, Amy’s series have really been lackluster.

Niki’s mini concert has been postponed (surprise surprise <_< ). She said she won't be filming a new series in the near future as she wants to "focus" on her music career.... haha, good luck with that. Sorry, I really don't understand her actions. BMA and their continuous letdown. How can she expect to make it very far with them? Aside from attending functions here and there, we won't really be seeing/hearing much of Niki.

I don't know about you, but I feel like both KN's careers are going nowhere. Kevin's image has suffered so much since last year's scandal broke out and Niki just won't leave that pathetic company of hers.

Oh, some of you requested that I make the fanvideo that I created available for download. Here it is: http://www.mediafire.com/?qlmdnkimjmx Let me know if you have trouble downloading it.

New KN Fanvideo!

Hey KN fans! Don’t worry, I haven’t abandoned the site. There’s just not much for me to update you guys on currently. Kevin’s been going on tour with renowned music composer/teacher Lau Ka Cheung around Asia in a series of concerts. He will begin filming the new Amy Wong series in November. Costume fitting is late October. Currently the cast consists of: Louise Lee, Paul Chun, Roger Kwok, Ada Choi, Natalie Tong, and Yoyo Mung. I can’t wait!

As for Niki, there are no new developments that I’m aware of currently. As for her mini concert, well, I haven’t heard anything about that yet either. Not so sure if there will even be one… you know how BMA is… all talk and no action. Kinda off topic, but I’m so glad that Jade Kwan is leaving BMA. I honestly hope Niki would do the same. I don’t know if you guys have heard, but her lousy company has just signed on some Taiwanese “pop princess,” (Kwok Sue Yiu) She’s supposedly semi well-known in Taiwan, but not many people know her in HK. Apparently, they are investing a 7 figure sum on this new “princess.” BMA even spent $100,000 on a tiara for her <_< BMA has high hopes on this 19 yr old. They hope that she will be the next diva and be able to hold a concert at the HK Coliseum within the next two years. Ha! What a joke! I have seen a couple MVs of this new girl and honestly, she’s too cutesy for my liking and I don’t find her to be anything special. I don’t know what BMA is thinking! They have such great talents, but all of them are getting left on the back burner. I pray that Niki will get out of the hell hole fast!

Kevin is back in HK. His concert in the states was a success. In addition to performing in Reno, Nevada, he was also invited to perform in Chicago, Illinois. In November he will be filming a new lighthearted family drama produced by none other than Amy Wong which will also star Roger Kwok, Ada Choi, Louise Lee, Paul Chun, and Natalie Tong. Awesome cast don’t you think? Very fresh combination too. Kevin has always expressed wanting to work with Louise. Now he gets too! In case you don’t know who Louise is, she’s Lee Si Kei the one that played Hor Ma in “Moonlight Resonance.” “Beyond” will be airing in October in the 8:30 time slot. It’s being featured as an Anniversary series along with “Born Rich”

Over on Niki’s side, I haven’t received much news on what she will be doing next, but there’s a mini concert being planned and is tentatively scheduled to take place at the end of this year. Her recent travelogue “Sakura Memories” got positive feedback and pretty good ratings.

Version 38… and New Featured Content Bar!

Changed the layout to add a bit more color to the site. I agree that the previous version looked very plain… sorry about that. I had trouble finding the perfect layout for the site and didn’t want to have the site down for too long so I just picked a very simple layout. This one should be more appealing to the eyes. I’ve also added a new “featured content” bar at the top of the page. All major announcements or news will be featured there.

I also want to give a shout out to all those who have donated so far! Thank you all so much!

A quick update on KN.

Kevin is currently in Nevada, United States for a concert with Mui Siu Wai and Karen Tong. After the concert, he will be in California spending some of his break time with his family. In October he will be starting a new series. It will be a lighthearted modern family drama produced by Amy Wong. The series also stars Louise Lee, Roger Kwok, Paul Chun, and Natalie Tong. Full cast and information is unavailable currently.

Niki will be attending a series of functions and JSG on Wed the 16th. I’m not sure why she’s on JSG, she’ll probably be singing the theme song from “Sakura Memories” “Happiness.” She said that she will be holding a mini concert at the end of this year.
